Crossroads Before we can begin our story, you as the reader must understand that there is deep magic involved when dealing with elves. To determine this magic you must look at the sun, moons, planets, and stars. The planets and the suns give generations of elves magical powers called Birthing Powers because elflings receive them at birth. The stars, and moons sometimes give an efling an extra power at birth. The day that comes that they receive an extra power is called their Morphing Day. They (the elflings) only get one Morphing Day a year, and is usually on the elf’s birthday. Now you must understand that elf magic is so powerful that a five year old elfling could wipe out an army of fifty on its own. Which means that if they ventured out of the elf country, which they were banned some fifty million years ago, they would be able to wipe out the government which we have tried so hard to sustain. Now I believe you have all the information on magic for this story, so let me take you to the elf country of Sun and to the small town of Millius (pronounce mil-ee-us). This town is where the beginning begins and where a nine year old morphs, and soon she and four friends will save the Sun. Now follow me and we shall begin. All you have to do is turn the page.
